Get your students out of the chair
One good idea I saw once in a class, is a cube like the one in the image for educational purposes.
Description
There are four circles drawn in each face of the cube. In the first circle you write six numbers (one per each cube face); the second circle has to contain six letters (from A to F), finally, in the last two circles your are able to put any drawing about the related topic you are developing in that moment.
The example in the image shows the two different topics in the circles below, a car referring to transportation, and a transit signal referring to directions. The other circles shown in the image are a cat referring to animals, and a tree, referring to nature. This means you don´t have to create a cube every time you teach a new topic, you just exchange the circles you need using the same cube.
The numbers written in the cube means a question (related to the topic) that is written on the boar. The same occurs with the letters. the difference between them is that the number is related to one of the circles below (transportation), and the letters have questions related to the other circle (directions).
The cube has six different colors, and the purpose is just to practice the colors and to make the cube more atractive to the sight.
How does the cube work?
For this activity you need two students to go in front of the class, one of them throws the cube and he/she has the choice of selecting one of the circles to ask a question (related to the topic) to their classmate. The other student has to answer that question the best he/she can. After that, both students exchange roles.

Good idea, I'm gonna make it. I would like to use cubes in my class, I have one of fabric and other one in braille.
